Purpose/Mission

The role the CBWA Newsletter Team is to provide a newsletter that supports the mission of CBWA.  The newsletter provides encouraging reports on many aspects that affect the life of a Christina Business Women.  Some of prior topics have included Communication, Dealing with Conflict, Faith, Finances, Intimacy, Laughter, Leadership, Life Purpose, Mentoring, Organizing, Prayer, Spiritual Disciplines, Technology, Time Management, Trust in God, Witnessing, and related Work Issues.

The newsletter also is full of testimonies of how God is changing the lives CBWA women, whether the change has run full course or the change is in progress. The newsletter also serves as an opportunity to announce CBWA’s monthly program information and speaker topics, praise reports, books reports and upcoming events.

Opportunities for Service

There are many roles available for opportunities of service with the Newsletter Team.  These roles include administrative, gathering articles, writing articles, interviewing, follow up on articles, copy editing, format editing, assistance with graphic designing and overall organization of the newsletter.

Meetings are informal, usually at lunch time on an as needed basis.  Most of communication of the newsletter team is on an email basis. Time commitment involved depends upon the functions assumed.  For example, a contribution of an article could be on an annual basis or monthly basis, assisting with follow up on newsletter could be just a few minutes every month, copy, format and editing may be a few hours every month, any role on the newsletter team is a flexible role dependent upon skills and services available.
