The CORE Team consists of approximately 12 volunteers who meet five times a year to coordinate the registration process for the bi-monthly luncheon meetings and offer recommendations to the CBWA Board of Directors. 

Registration Process:

Registration entails creating a spreadsheet for the phone and email luncheon reservations, contacting the luncheon facility with a head count, checking in each attendee, and collecting and tallying the money on the day of the meeting.  At each luncheon individual members of the CORE Team share in the responsibility of greeting guests, hosting a table, giving an opening prayer, setting up and tearing down the registration table, and writing thank-you notes to our speakers.  A CORE team member is equipped to support and promote Christ through her actions.

Offer Recommendations to the Board of Directors:

The CORE Team offers recommendations and suggestions to the Board of Directors, like how to attract new members, price of the meal, luncheon facility location, use of the website to educate, choice of meeting mementos, and selection of raffle prizes.  Members of the CORE Team are intricately involved in yearly fundraisers, including our Holiday Bazaar in November and sale of Entertainment Books and creation of our own CBWA Cookbook.

The CORE Team is always looking for enthusiastic and encouraging women with a love for Christ who want to make a difference in the lives of business and professional women.  To become a member and serve, please contact a CBWA board member and you will be invited to the next meeting.
